The Prix de Lausanne 2020 International Ballet Competition

La «Fondation en faveur de l’Art Chorégraphique» y la “Fondation de la Saison Culturelle de Montreux” anuncian que la 48 edición del Premio de Lausanne, del 2 al 9 de febrero de 2020, se llevará a cabo en el Montreux Stravinski Auditorium.

Esta decisión es el resultado de las discusiones iniciadas entre las dos fundaciones y las ciudades de Lausanne y Montreux teniendo en cuenta la renovación del «Palacio de Beaulieu» durante el año 2019 que hará imposible que el Prix de Lausanne 2020 se celebre en el teatro.

Lausanne, October 4th, 2018: The “Fondation en faveur de l’Art Chorégraphique” andthe “Fondation de la Saison Culturelle de Montreux” announcet hat the 48 th edition of the Prix de Lausanne –from February 2nd to9th, 2020 –will be held atthe Montreux Stravinski Auditorium as the “Palais de Beaulieu” will be closed for renovations that will initiate in 2019. The “Fondation en faveur de l’Art Chorégraphique” and the “Fondation de la Saison Culturelle de Montreux” unite to organize the 48 th edition of the Prix de Lausanne–from February 2nd to 9th, 2020 –that will be held atthe Montreux Stravinski Auditorium.

This decision is the result of discussionsinitiated between the two foundations and the cities of Lausanne and Montreux taking into account the “Palais de Beaulieu”’s renovation over 2019 that will make the Prix de Lausanne 2020 impossibleto be heldin the theatre. The selection process, the Rules and Regulations, the quality of the hospitality and the competition procedure of the international ballet competition during the week will not change in any way. The Prix de Lausanne willreturn to the “Palais de Beaulieu” for the 2021 edition.
