Ralph Fiennes desvela las primeras imágenes de su film sobre Rudolf Nureyev «The White Crow» (2018).
El realizador y actor británico, Ralph Fiennes, ha desvelado imágenes de su próxima película, ‘The White Crow’ (El cuervo blanco), que aborda capítulos trascendentales en la vida del bailarín ruso Rudolf Nureyev.
El joven y galardonado Oleg Ivenko, es quien da vida al gran maestro del ballet, Rudolf Nureyev. El guión fue adaptado del libro de Julie Kavanagh Rudolf Nureyev: The Life.
La producción está recorriendo enclaves visitados y conocidos por Nureyev, desde el Museo Hermitage y el teatro Mariinski al Louvre de París. The White Crow se adentrará en la vida del bailarín hasta su «peligrosa decepción a Occidente» en 1961, según la nota difundida por los productores. El guion lo firma David Hare, dramaturgo y realizador británico muy reconocido por obras originales y adaptadas de contenido político y social.
Según lo revelado previamente por la pantalla, Fiennes también actuará en el film. El bailarín Sergei Polunin, Adèle Exarchopoulos, Chulpan Khamatova, Raphaël Personnaz, Calypso Valois y Louis Hofmann forman parte del elenco asi también los bailarines Anastasia Meskova y Anna Polikarpova.
Igor Zelensky, director artístico del Teatro de Ópera y Ballet de Novosibirsk, supervisará la coreografía de los grandes títulos clásicos del repertorio («El lago de los cisnes» y «La bella durmiente» entre otros ballets) y el premiado coreógrafo Christopher Wheeldon (An American In Paris) estará a cargo de la coreografía especial.
El rodaje de «The White Crow» continuará en Croacia y Serbia hasta finales de octubre.
