18 – 23 March, 2013, BUDAPEST, Hungary. We are pleased to announce that we did organised the
6th RUDOLF NUREYEV INTERNATIONAL BALLET COMPETITION & FESTIVAL
on 15-23 March, 2013, Budapest, Hungary on the occassion of 75th birthday and to commemorate the death 20 years ago of Rudolf Nureyev.
In the Competition there were 52 competitors from 19 countries.
The JURY comprised of the follows:
- Charles JUDE President – dancer étoile of Paris Operaballet, artistic director of Bordeaux Ballet;
- Maria ARADI – former Principal Dancer Dutch National Ballet Amsterdam, Balletmistress of the Hungarian Dance Academy Budapest;
- Irek MUKHAMEDOV – former Principal Dancer of the Bolshoi Ballet Moscow and Royal Ballet London, Artistic Director of Slovene National Theatre Opera and Ballet Ljubljana;
- Jae Keun PARK – President of Korea Ballet Foundation and Founder-President of Korea International Ballet Competition Soeul;
- Lyudmila SEMENYAKA – former primaballerina of Bolshoi Ballet, leading balletmistress of Bolshoi Ballet;
- György SZAKÁLY – Rector of Hungarian Dance Academy Budapest;
- Evelyn TÉRI – Professor Staatsoper Vienna’s Ballet School, Director Vienna IBC
Ballet Masters of the Competition:
Gabor KEVEHÁZI – Former Principal Dancer, choreographer and ex-Ballet Director of Hungarian National Ballet, Balletmaster at Hungarian Dance Academy Budapest.
